I reached out to Nancy for help with our newly adopted girl, who is a shepherd/hound mix. Although house-broken, our dog appeared to have never been socialized, had very little knowledge of basic commands, and, although a sweet pup, she needed guidance. This is where Nancy came in with her experience, knowledge, and amazing ability to understand and communicate with dogs! Even before our first appointment, she provided suggestions over the phone for me to implement immediately. After each session, not just the dog but even our (human) family came away with something new we learned, a new skill, and a new way to approach and handle training. She has given us tools we continue to use and helped us better understand our dog. I can honestly say I communicate with my dog so much better now, and our bond has deepened. ”I feel moved to tell you about our experience with dog trainer, Nancy Block. We stumbled upon a review of Nancy from another neighbor and just HAD to hire her and I’m so glad we did. Nancy has a gift... she is the real deal! Not only does she read animals well, she also does a fantastic job of reading their humans too. We have three dogs. An 11 year old chi mix who has been treated like a human child her whole life. A 2 year old border collie mix and a 7ish year old pittie mix. All of our dogs are rescues and none of them had very comfortable lives prior to be adopted by us. ”Nancy Block. I rarely post on Nextdoor, but I have to share this dog trainer with anyone that needs as I found her on here as well. Nancy's Dog Training - Nancy Block - 281-961-0260. We have a 4 year old chihuahua that had only been treated as a lap dog her entire life and we as owners let her go untrained. She was becoming a home divider as she was untrained, barked non stop, peed/pooped as she wished and wasn't able to walk on a leash. I was very desperate as I really thought we let this go on too long and was beyond training. She is our 3rd dog and the kids just literally just carried her like a baby everywhere, so she was cute, but untrained. I am not kidding, within 1 training session Nancy already left us with skills for the week that completely turned our life around. By the end of 3 weeks, guests that visited could not believe it was the same dog. Nancy did more than just "train" our dog, she had myself, my wife and son all involved and she did a 180 on this entire house. We learned and corrected our behavior that was creating our dogs bad behavior and worked with us to train our dog. As a house, it was unbelievable the difference she made and this calmness even helped lower the tension with the other 2 dogs. After 5 sessions, she had us to the point that we were able to just keep applying the skills without guidance for normal life to resume. I am not kidding (and I was extremely skeptical at first) but Nancy literally saved our house and turned our life around by helping us get Nike (dog) and us trained to be better owners and her a better dog. Nancy (by her own admission) is a little quirky, but by the end, she became a family friend and we are so thankful for finding her. I promise, if you need a dog trainer, and you are willing to do the work, she will give you AMAZING results. Feel free to ask me any questions, I am a big believer in NAN!!!"
